The breakfast was generous for a hotel of this rating with avocado instead of meat and home-made jams. The superior double room I was given was complete with good heating. Everything met requirements, I will come back.

Great location, close to both Roman and Medieval sites, as well as a bustling market street on Saturdays. Friendly and welcoming staff, made check-in a breeze.
The room was in desperate need of a refresh, with tired furnishings and a bathroom that had mold. The bed was uncomfortable, sagging in the middle and making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Allan, the owner, is an absolute legend! He speaks multiple languages and goes above and beyond to help you out. He even let me have breakfast earlier than usual. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely mind-blowing! So much variety and completely satisfying. The hotel itself has so much character, dating all the way back to 1830. The vintage furniture in the rooms is jaw-dropping and the bathroom sink is big enough for all your toiletries. The air conditioning works super well and the hot water is plentiful with great water pressure. The location couldn't be better, right in front of a beautiful canal and just a short walk from the Rhone River. Plus, the major bus stop is just 5 minutes away. And to top it all off, Allan is always there to answer your call if you have any issues. This place is the bomb!
